Junior School Council trip to London

Filed under: Uncategorized — apollard @ 12:57 pm

On the 17th July 2017 two of our school councillors James and Lillie from Year 6, visited London. We met up with the Junior School Councillors from the other Worksop schools at Retford train station. In London we had a tour of The Houses of Parliament at Westminster Palace. Later we met with the MP for Bassetlaw, John Mann. The highlight of the day was getting to stand on the steps of Number 10 Downing Street and having our photo taken.
